How we make money
Short version: when you click an Apply link on this site and go on to sign up and complete paid work on the platform, we may earn a one-time referral from that platform. That's the entire business model. No ads. No paid placement. No sponsored listings.
What the referral links are
Most of the platforms we list run a personal referral program — sign up via someone's link, complete some paid work, and the referrer gets a one-time payout (terms vary by platform; usually nothing recurring). These are not classic affiliate networks (Impact, CJ, per-click payouts). They only pay out on real, qualified signups that turn into real work.
What that means for our incentives
Because we only earn on qualified signups, we care more about the right person finding the right task than about pageview volume. That's why this is a curated, hand-picked directory rather than a feed of every task we can scrape — sending people to platforms they don't qualify for is bad for everyone and pays us nothing.
How we keep listings honest
- We list only real sources where genuine tasks originate — not intermediary “re-matcher” sites that occupy the same slot we do.
- Editorial blurbs may include honest signal even when it's unflattering (e.g. “advertised rates can overstate typical earnings”). We'd rather be useful than maximally monetizable.
- Geographic eligibility is shown up front, not buried — most US- centric resources ignore non-US workers, and we don't.
- We do not accept payment from platforms to be listed, to be ranked higher, or to remove negative commentary.
What you can do if you want to support this
Use our apply links when you sign up. That's it. If you'd rather not, every listing also surfaces the platform's plain homepage — go direct. We'd still rather you find work than not.
